Just before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, the Morrill County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident involving two tractor trailers and a passenger vehicle approximately two miles west of Bridgeport on Highway 26.
The accident claimed the life of Maverick Miller, 27, of Bridgeport. The accident is under investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol.
The Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department, Morrill County Advanced Life Support Service, Morrill County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Bayard Police Department, and the City of Bridgeport Public Works Department provided assistance following the accident.
