TORRINGTON,Wyo.— Bridgeport High School senior, Kelsie McVicker, has signed a letter of intent to join the Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) Livestock Judging Team and Show Team this fall. McVicker, a standout in Nebraska’s 4-H and FFA programs, will bring her expertise in livestock evaluation and oral reasoning to the Lancers’ competitive team.
“Kelsie’s passion for agriculture and her dedication to excellence in livestock evaluation make her a perfect fit for our program,” EWC’s Livestock Judging and Show Team Coach, Dr. GeorgiaYounglove, said. “We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to the contributions she will make both in competition and in the classroom.”
McVicker’s decision to attend EWC aligns with her aspirations to further her education in agriculture while competing at a collegiate level. She will be part of a team that competes in national and regional contests, including the National Barrow Show, American Royal, and North American International Livestock Exposition. EWC’s Livestock Judging Team is known for its rigorous training and success in competitions.
