It was a busy week for the Bridgeport track and field teams as the home stretch of the season is now underway.
A number of Bulldogs opened the action with a trip to Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff for the annual Best in the West meet. Bridgeport athletes competed in a majority of the events and placed high.
Taylor Bright led the way by sprinting to a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash in a time of 28.54 seconds. She also medaled in the 100 with a fourth-place finish in 12.71.
