In the season opener, the Bombers played error free defense and put together a strong pitching performance, to defeat Floyd’s Truck Center Dodgers 14-3. Jaxson Shultz struck out three of the four outs he recorded, and Benjamin Simmons pitched two and twothirds innings in relief without giving up a run. Henry Mc-Laughlin played a lock down first base, leading the defense which made the most of their pitchers pitching to contact.
