Elliott pitches gem, Bombers prep now 5-1

Hayzen Elliott pitched one of the better games of the year for the Bombers. His three innings were a lesson in efficiency as he needed just 43 pitches to get his nine outs.

This included an immaculate inning, where he needed only nine pitches, all strikes, to take down the side. Zeke Sorenson pitched the final two innings in what turned out to be a 13-4 win for the prep team.

Elliott proved he could swing the lumber as well, getting the Bombers in the scoring column in the second inning, by stroking a single to knock in Grayson Mitchell.
