BRIDGEPORT—The streets of Bridgeport were alive with color, laughter, and community spirit during the inaugural July Community 5K Color Run/Walk held on Thursday, July 3rd.With around 20 enthusiastic participants ranging in age from young children to adults, the event proved once again that healthy living can be fun for the whole family.
Runners and walkers were doused in vibrant patriotic colors at multiple stations along the route, making for a bright and joyful experience. The “color blast” not only brought smiles to participants’ faces but also encouraged physical activity and community connection in a unique and festive way.
After crossing the finish line, participants were treated to a refreshing reward—root beer floats generously provided by Sonny’s Superfoods, capping off the event with a sweet celebration.
