The budget workshop was the main focus of the commissioners meeting on Tuesday.

The goals included a 2.5% increase for most departments, with specific adjustments made to ensure that the county kept the tax asking growth at 2% or less, avoided the need for LB644 pink postcards.The proposed tax asking would reduce the levy from .310390 to .297974.The budget hearing will be held during the September 23 meeting.
