The Bridgeport volleyball team went 1-1 during the second week of the season.
In a 25-19, 24-26, 25-22, 22-25, 15-10 five-set win on the road over Gordon-Rushville last Tuesday, the Bulldogs totaled a whopping 49 kills. Kendal Deaver powered the Bulldogs in hitting with 15 kills. Jailyn Nichols also hit double figures in kills with 13. Morgan Abbott finished with eight kills, Ashlynn Collins had six, and Fallon Deblois added five.
Avery Schneider handed out 41 assists from her setter’s position.
