The Bridgeport volleyball team stepped up its competition this past weekend by competing for the first time in the Twin City Invitational hosted by Scottsbluff and Gering.
Every year the tournament features some of the toughest competition around the region with many Class B schools involved. Bridgeport ended the event with a 1-5 mark.
In the pool-play round on Friday the Bulldogs dropped setbacks to all three opponents. The Bulldogs fell to Adams Central 25-18, 25-16, lost to Holdrege 25-23, 25-16, and fell to Scottsbluff.
