The Bridgeport volleyball team captured its 11th win of the season by sweeping Mitchell 25-23, 25-21, 25-17 last Thursday in Mitchell.With the win, the Bulldogs avenged a setback to the Tigers just a week before.
Bridgeport enjoyed balanced hitting at the net in the victory. Jailyn Nichols and Fallon Deblois each led the way with eight kills. Kendal Deaver put down seven kills and Ashlynn Collins finished with six.
Avery Schneider handed out 30 set assists. Schneider also served seven points with a pair of aces and collected nine digs. Kayci Sorenson led the Bulldogs at the service line with 13 points. Sorenson and Nichols both had two aces. Ella Schluterbusch led Bridgeport defensively with 27 digs.
