The Bridgeport volleyball team earned a seventh-place finish at the South Platte Valley Association tournament held Saturday in Kimball.
Bridgeport knocked off Kimball 19-25, 25-18, 25-21 to close out the tournament with a victory. Avery Schneider recorded a triple-double to help lead the Bulldogs in the match. She finished with 18 set assists, 15 service points and 11 digs.The sophomore also added four kills and served a team-high three aces. Ashlynn Collins and Fallon Deblois led Bridgeport in hitting with six kills each.
Jailyn Nichols added four kills and had a pair of blocks. Ella Schluterbusch totaled 28 digs to lead the Bulldogs defensively. Kendal Deaver finished
