The Bridgeport volleyball team closed out its regular-season schedule with a 25-18, 25-21, 25-15 sweep of the Hay Springs Hawks last Tuesday night.With the victory, the Bulldogs improved to 13-19 on the season heading into the sub-district tournament.
A balanced hitting attack powered Bridgeport in the win over Hay Springs. Jailyn Nichols led the way with 10 kills. Fallon Deblois added nine and Kendal Deaver finished with six.
Kayci Sorenson served a team-high 15 points from the service line. Deaver served eight points with three aces. Sorenson, Nichols and Halle Carter each served a pair of aces.
