Local talent competes at the 2026 Miss Alliance pageant

ALLIANCE—The 2026 Miss Alliance and Miss Alliance’s Teen pageant dazzled audiences on Saturday, November 22, at the Alliance Performing Arts Center, where 17 young women from across Nebraska competed for scholarships, crowns, and the opportunity to advance to the state level. The event, an official preliminary to the Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Teen competitions, celebrated scholastic achievement, community involvement, and personal growth, awarding multiple titles and special recognitions.

Amid a field of talented contestants, Olivia Vanderford of Lincoln was crowned Miss Alliance 2026, earning her spot to compete at Miss Nebraska in June 2026. Addilyn Wilson of Hershey took home the Miss Panhandle 2026 title, while Ally Parker of Omaha was named Miss Niobrara River 2026. In the teen division, Halle Knutson of Scottsbluff was awarded Miss Alliance’s Teen 2026, and Paige Dodson of North Platte secured Miss Panhandle’s Teen 2026.These titleholders will represent their regions at the state pageant in North Platte, vying for scholarships and the chance to advance nationally under the Miss America Organization.

Bridgeport’s own Mara Soto, 18, daughter of Marlana Gomez and Alex Soto, stood out among the competitors in the Miss Division. Although not claiming a crown, Soto captured the hearts of the audience and judges alike, winning the Miss Audience Choice award and the 1st Place Community Service award for her outstanding contributions and charisma. Soto’s achievements highlight the pageant’s emphasis on community impact, where participants showcased initiatives ranging from local service projects to broader advocacy.
