Nein sets another school record for Bulldogs

For the second time in his career, Gage Nein etched his name in the Bridgeport High School boys basketball record books during the Bulldogs’ 66-37 win over Pine Bluffs last Tuesday night.

Nein, who already held the record for most assists in a season with 137, became the school’s leader in career assists with 335. The senior’s five helpers during the victory helped him best the previous record of 330, which was held by Cole Faessler.

Nein was one of five Bulldogs who scored in double figures in the contest. He finished with 13 points. Landon Dean led the way with 16 points. Hayes Watts tallied 13, Logan Levick netted 12, and Nik Weibert finished with 10.Watts hit three treys and Weibert sank a pair.
