Kambrey Amateis scored a career-high 24 points with six 3-pointers to help power the Bridgeport girls basketball team to a 74-51 road win at Hay Springs on Friday night.
The win improved the Bulldogs to 7-0 on the season, while the loss was the first of the campaign for the Hawks.
Despite being short-handed due to injuries, Bridgeport still managed to score a season high in points. Four players scored in double figures. Ella Schluterbusch finished with 21 points, Reata Loomis had 13, and Olivia Brown tallied 10. Schluterbusch and Brown each hit a pair of treys. Mia Blanco added four points and Olivia Corman had two for the Bulldogs.
