Bridgeport High School seniors Ella Schluterbusch and Gage Nein both surpassed scoring milestones during the Bulldog girls and boys basketball teams second-place finishes at the Chadron Holiday Tournament played last week at Chadron State College.
Both players, who began playing on the varsity level as freshmen, eclipsed 1,000 points scored for their careers.
Schluterbusch scored 25 points in a 65-29 first-round win over Niobrara County out of Lusk, Wyo. Nein scored 19 points in a 77-28 win over the Tigers.
