Platte Valley Bank in Bridgeport presented a $2,000 donation to the Bridgeport Food Pantry. This gift reflects the generosity of Platte Valley Bank associates, who raised $1,000 throughout the past 2 years by participating in “Jeans Fridays.” Employees donated each week for the privilege of wearing jeans to work, and the bank matched their efforts dollar-for-dollar, bringing the total to $2,000. “Giving back to our local community is very important to our associates,” said Lewis Coulter, Community Bank President. “This initiative was a fun and meaningful way for employees to support an organization that meets such a vital need right here in our hometown.” From left: front row— Lewis Coulter, Jonathan Seng on behalf of the food pantry, Jaz Henderson; back row—Billie Smith, Payton Oliverius, Lisa Smith, Amber Christianson, and Deb Adams.
