The City of Bridgeport is inviting community members to review and provide feedback on the draft Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan—a community- driven effort to make local streets safer for everyone.
The draft plan will be available beginning April 15, 2026, and reflects input from residents, schools, emergency responders, and local partners, combined with crash data and safety analysis. The plan identifies practical, cost-effective improvements to reduce the risk of serious crashes and improve everyday travel throughout the community.
“Whether it’s walking to school, driving to work, or visiting downtown, everyone deserves to feel safe getting around Bridgeport,” said Mayor Gail Beyer. “This plan is built on local input, and we want the community’s help to finalize it.”
