BRIDGEPORT—Jenifer Gompert was formally invested as Clerk Magistrate of Morrill County Court in the 12th Judicial District during a ceremony held April 23, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Morrill County Court courtroom.
Retired County Court Judge Hon. James M.Worden presided over the investiture. The program included welcome and introductions, remarks by Deputy Administrator Amy Prenda of the Administrative Office of the Courts & Probation, administration of the oath by Judge Worden, enrobing by Bridget Phillips, and presentation of the Certificate of Appointment by County Court Judge Hon. Paul G.Wess. Gompert offered personal remarks, followed by closing comments from Judge Worden.
Speakers highlighted Gompert’s dedication, courtroom skills, and reputation as a “bright star” in the clerk’s office. Prenda emphasized the critical role of the Clerk Magistrate in managing court operations, staff, and a wide range of complex cases while maintaining diplomatic relations with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and the public.
