Brody Mackey and his Monument Meats team claimed the coveted Pit Boss title at the 2026 Platte Valley Bank Beef Contest, held as part of this year’s Camp Clarke Days celebration.
The contest featured nine entries competing in four categories: Dessert,Tri-Tip, Chili, and Brisket. Mackey’s team posted the highest overall score of 22 points in the Pit Boss competition, which awards points based on judges’ placings across all categories.
