Nebraska Public Media’s “JAM” returns for fourth season

LINCOLN—Nebraska Public Media’s music performance television series “JAM” returns with a new season featuring intimate interviews and powerful performances from three distinctive artists whose careers span roots, soul and Americana music.

Premiering at 8 p.m. CT, Monday, Aug. 17, on Nebraska Public Media, “JAM” explores song-writing, musical roots, creative reinvention and the rewards and realities of a life in music through candid interviews and performances from music venues and the Ron Hull Studio at Nebraska Public Media in Lincoln.

Featured artists include Omaha roots-Americana singer- songwriter Jeni Grouws, Lincoln soul powerhouse Josh Hoyer and his newly reformed Josh Hoyer’s Colossal 4, and Nashville-based Darrell Scott, a four-time Grammy nominee and 2025 Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement honoree.
