August 11, 2021—The 95th annual Greek Festival was a hit in Bridgeport this past weekend with over 100 people in attendance for the food booths at the community center. The auction this year was online only with a good turnout.The Athenian dancers were in full dress and even some of the adults joined in…A fatality accident claimed the life of a young Bridgeport man on Saturday night north of town. According to the Morrill County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8 p.m. authorities were dispatched to County Road 101 about six miles northeast of Bridgeport to a single-vehicle rollover accident involving two juvenile males. Evan Hill, the driver, was transported to Regional West Medical Center where he was treated and released.
