Three Bridgeport High School actors were given the opportunity to travel to Chicago this July to attend the Second City Theater’s Comedy Summer Camp.
Senior Aaron Cooper and Juniors Ben Babic and Emily Hunter attended the camp, chaperoned by Mr. Cooper and Ms. Hunter’s parents, as well as BHS Speech and One Acts coach Costa Lapaseotes, who planned and organized the trip.
“I am starting a foundation for Bridgeport Theater, with the Bridgeport Community Foundation providing a framework for fundraising” said Lapaseotes. “This trip is the foundation’s first chance to provide opportunities to the students whose hard work and time have made our Speech and Theater Programs successful.”
