Free educational program for Nebraska elementary students
LINCOLN—The Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation (NSHSF) is excited to announce the Walk to the Rock Junior Pathfinder Program, a new educational initiative offering free, hands-on learning experiences at Chimney Rock for K-5 students.
Made possible through a major donor gift, the Junior Pathfinder Program brings classroom learning to life at one of Nebraska’s most iconic landmarks.Through customized field trips focused on Nebraska history, natural sciences and conservation, students can learn by exploring the landscape, history and natural resources surrounding Chimney Rock.
