The Bridgeport football team helped close out Homecoming week in thrilling fashion by rallying for a 28-27 win over Heartland and Hampton last Friday night on the home field.
Trailing 27-12 going into the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs scored the game’s final 16 points to storm back for the victory and improve to 3-1 on the season.
An 8-yard touchdown run by James Jeffords and his twopoint conversion run helped pull Bridgeport within 27-20.
