Alyvia Harless capped off her record-setting first season on the Bridgeport High School girls golf team by finishing third at the Class C state tournament last week at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.
Harless, who transferred to Bridgeport from Colorado, put together a dominating junior campaign on the links for the Bulldogs. Her third-place finish at state was the highest by any Bulldog girl since 2006 when her aunt, Candace Panas, placed second.
“She just had a dominant season all season long,” Bridgeport coach Todd Janicek said. “She works really hard at her craft and puts a lot of time into it.”
