The move by the Colorado Supreme Court to remove former President Donald Trump from the ballot of the March 5 Republican presidential primary there and the general election should he be nominated in Nov. 2024 is causing Republicans including his opponents to predictably circle the wagons around Trump, and it appears to be causing fissures among Democrats as well who see the move will only help Trump. 12/27/2023 10:00 PM

This week in the House, I supported a resolution empowering a full inquiry into President Biden’s interactions with his family’s foreign business dealings. Records obtained by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability reveal the Biden family and their business associates have received over $20 million in payments from entities in foreign countries including Russia, China, and Ukraine dating back to 2013.The payments, alongside President Biden’s official actions and use of alias email addresses during his time as Vice President and possible efforts by his administration to disrupt criminal investigations into his son Hunter, demand further investigation and oversight empowered by this resolution. 12/21/2023 03:00 AM

This week, House Republicans took action to push back on proposals by President Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) effectively forcing consumers to drive only electric vehicles (EVs) by 2032.The EPA’s out-of-touch policies are unworkable for the Third District because of our winter weather and expansive driving distances. Furthermore, China, which holds 78 percent of the world’s EV battery cell manufacturing capacity, recently implemented export controls on raw EV battery materials. In the interest of consumer freedom and minimizing dependence on China, the federal government should reverse course on heavy handed EV mandates. 12/14/2023 03:00 AM
