Bridgeport cross country runners hosted the annual Run at the Rocks Bridgeport Invite on Tuesday last week, with the varsity boys taking the top spot in the day’s 5K event. The Lady Bulldogs placed fourth overall behind Hemingford, Mullen, and Gordon-Rushville. Bulldogs celebrate Homecoming with third straight win
The Bridgeport football team capped off Homecoming week in style with a 70-24 victory over visiting Hemingford last Friday night. Scoring was fast and furious for the Bulldogs, who totaled a whopping 10 touchdowns in the game. Senior running back Peyton Abbott led the charge by tying a school record with seven touchdowns of his own. He rushed for six scores and caught another.
