Dale Patrick “Pat”Wright of Scottsbluff, NE, passed away August 16, 2023, at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO, at the age of 85. A son of Dale and Alberta Wright, Pat was born August 4, 1938, in Bridgeport, NE. He was united in marriage to Mildred Arnold of Imperial, NE, on September 5, 1959, at Council Bluffs, IA, and they were married 63 years.They had two children, Justin and Sonia. 08/24/2023 03:00 AM

Platte Valley Bank of Bridgeport presented a $10,000 check to members of Bridgeport Public Schools on August 16th. County commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday morning where they approved the contract to provide dispatch services with the city of Bayard. Last updated in 2011, the new contract raised the cost to $1500 per month, up from $1000 monthly, paid yearly.
