College pals wind up on tour of Nebraska
When the University of Omaha sent students home this spring over fears of the pandemic, their options were limited; work, play video games or go out of their mind with uncertainty and boredom. Thankfully, one kid had another plan; jump in the car and hit the road to find out more about their great state of Nebraska.
“After we got sent home from college, we didn’t really have a whole lot to do. One day, I went to my friend Austin and asked if he wanted to go to every town in Nebraska. He was a little surprised, but he agreed to do it, and off we went!” said Seth Varner to his friend Austin Schneider, both Wahoo natives and soon to be sophomores at UNO majoring in Business Administration. Varner explains, “We figured exploring the state would be far more exciting that sitting around at home or working at DQ all the time”.
