NWS Cheyenne suspending storm spotter talks and large outreach functions

NWS Cheyenne regretfully announces that our currently scheduled storm spotter talks have been suspended until further notice as we look to limit large social gatherings at this time due to COVID-19. We are sorry for the suspension and will work with local county emergency managers and safety officials to reschedule storm spotter talks in the future. In lieu of in-person storm spotter talks, NWS Cheyenne will be developing and delivering virtual spotter training classes through Facebook Live and recorded presentations uploaded to YouTube. Stay tuned for additional details on our social media platforms. We certainly hope to resume normal outreach activities as soon as possible.
