Charter communications launches Spectrum Internet 100

SCOTTSBLUFF—Charter Communications, Inc. today announced it is now offering Spectrum Internet 100 across virtually all of its entire 41-state service area. The new high-speed, lowcost broadband service provides 100 Mbps download speeds for just $29.99 per month, and includes a modem, in-home WiFi and self-installation at no additional charge. Spectrum Internet 100 is available exclusively to households eligible for the Federal Communications Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), and all Spectrum Internet and legacy plans — including Spectrum Internet Gig — are eligible for ACP credits.

Leyton participants for Cornhusker Boys’ State

The American Legion Post 301 and Squadron 301, Sons of The American Legion of Dalton are pleased to announce that Jakob Kruse, Dawson Juelfs, and Gabriel Tretter have been sponsored to attend Cornhusker Boys’ State. These juniors from Leyton High School will join nearly 250 other high school juniors from across Nebraska participating June 5-11, 2022, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln downtown campus. This annual citizenship program sponsored by the Nebraska American Legion is designed to provide youth with a better understanding of how city, county, and state governments operate.

Local student headed to American Legion Auxiliary Girls State

Dalton—Tyenne Berner of Dalton has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State June 5-11, 2022, on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Berner was selected based by Mintkin-Davison Unit 31 of Dalton. Berner will study local, county and state government processes in this nonpartisan political learning experience. Every spring, the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program provides approximately 25,000 young women with a hands-on educational opportunity designed to instruct tomorrow’s leaders in the privileges and duties of responsible citizenship.
