The Bridgeport Church

The Bridgeport Church of Christ, with help from the people and larger space of Gloryland Church, packed boxes that were donated by the Community Bible Church and others for this year’s Operation Christmas Child. Boxes contain toys and hygiene items, as well as books and school supplies, personal notes and photographs. The Church of Christ is an official drop off point for the operation, and the churches worked together this year in memory of Celeste Rodgers, who was a member at two of the churches at one point or another throughout her lifetime. Those gathered packed 130 boxes, all which will be taken to Denver to the main OCC center before moving on to their final destination. Last year’s boxes went to Mexico, but it is unknown where these hundred plus will land. COURTESY PHOTO
