Farmers to Families to run on Tuesdays through Jan., 2021

The Bridgeport Ministerial Association has again partnered with the USDA and CashWa for the Farmers to Families Food program this winter for residents of Morrill County. The food pick-up site will be the south end of the parking lot of the Prairie Winds Community Center every Tuesday around noon, beginning Oct. 27 and running through January, 2021. The truck will park in the south portion of the PWCC lot; patrons should line up on N Street with vehicles facing south. Please remain in your vehicle and follow the one in front of you. The Ministerial Association pastors and volunteers will load your vehicle with a 15# box of produce and one gallon of milk.

Bridgeport secondary students shared with the public their annual fall concert on Tuesday evening, October 13, in the school auditorium. Both the junior high and high school bands and choirs performed on stage and the program was live streamed to the dozens who were not in attendance.

Lady Bulldogs fall to Bearcats

Lady Bulldogs fall to Bearcats

The Lady Bulldogs took on the Scottsbluff Bearcats in volleyball action on Tuesday, October 6, with the varsity, JV and C-team playing. The local ladies did not fare well in the end, winning just two of the five sets with the Bearcats taking the other three. Scores were 21-25 Bearcats, 25-19 Bulldogs, 19-25 Bearcats, 25- 18 Bulldogs, and 8-15 Bearcats.
