courtesy photo Over sixty students attended the fourth annual Regional Science Fair held at the Harms Center at WNCC in Scottsbluff last week. Leyton scientists Zaili Benish, Aly Holt, Trenton Rushman & Peyton Abbott all placed at the Regional Science Fair and qualify for the Sate Science Fair at Wesleyan University in April. Leyton also won the distinction of Jr. High and People’s Choice Award. For the Jr. High, Benish finished second with dissolving the pain using aspirin. Abbott and Rushman studied hydraulics and placed fifth. In high school, Holt grabbed first place with her project on Ooblek. Congratulations to all the science fair winners and good luck at State.
