Commissioners show support of local law enforcement agencies

The County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 and after the approval of the agenda, minutes of the last meeting and claims were approved, correspondence were read, and the board of equalization met. A public hearing for vehicle exemption was presented by the county treasurer.

Bryan Hoerler was present for a public hearing on the county’s one- and six-year road program with several roads in Bayard, Bridgeport, and Broadwater to be regraveled or oiled in the coming years with the county’s approval of the plan. Hoerler’s evaluation by the commissioners was positive with the recommendation that he increase trainings of his employees as able.

By request of Susanna Batterman, a resolution was drawn up a by Travis Rodak and approved by the commissioners showing a strong support of law enforcements officers in Morrill County, considering the negative attention and actions against police officers around the country recently.
