Mayor, council salary increase ordinance advances to second reading

The Bridgeport City Council met in regular session on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Prairie Winds Community Center at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Browne opened the meeting and shared a public correspondence from Billie Mitchell, Museum Director, asking for a raise. The matter was directed to her council member to meet with her for discussion.

The consent agenda was passed with the approval of the minutes of the December 5, 2019 meeting and the acceptance of the monthly treasurer’s report. Billie Mitchell was appointed to the Park Board; Brad Huck to the Keno Board and Penny Fellhoelter to the Housing Authority Board.

Councilman Dean Rahmig was elected as the Council President for the year 2020.
