Two Bridgeport boys, part of the Bayard Boy Scout Troop, participated in the Pinewood Derby races on Monday night at the Scout Hall in Bayard. Ten kids competed in the double elimination contest and though Bentley Ellis, left, and Drake Devrous, right, didn’t place in the top three, they had a lot of fun designing and racing their cars. Devrous constructed his car to look like a canoe, complete with a fisherman. He won the award for Most Unusual Car. COURTESY PHOTO
