Visitation will take place from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Bridgman Funeral Home in Bridgeport.The family graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Broadwater.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Broadwater Fire Hall.The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dwayne’s honor be designated to Broadwater Fire Department, Brookstone Hospice Care, or donor’s choice. Dwayne Nolte was born in Bridgeport to Wayne and Kary Nolte. Over the years, he lived in Cozad and Sterling before returning to Bridgeport, where he made his home with his wife, Lori Nolte, and their two children, Brandy and Lance Nolte. As a fourth-generation farmer, Dwayne was recognized within the agricultural community for his hard work ethic and sense of humor. He was also known for his generosity to the community and willingness to help those in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Wayne and Kary Nolte; his sister, Sherry Morrison of Colorado; and numerous other relatives. He is survived by his wife, Lori Nolte; his children, Brandy and Lance Nolte; his siblings and their spouses, Karen and Jeff Kennedy from Arizona, Dwight and Holly Nolte of Bayard, and Janice Nolte of New Mexico; grandchildren Alexes and Madison; and nieces and nephews, includingTanisha and her husband Kyle Bules and their children Kaide and Kambree Bules, Jenissa and TylerYauney, and Kylee Morrison.
