The family of Mark Didier invites the community to join them in celebrating Mark’s life. Mark passed away at the age of 45 on November 13, 2022, following a short and aggressive battle with cancer. Instead of a traditional funeral service, Mark’s wish was for friends, family, and his network of hunters to gather at the lodge that was recently completed for his business, Goose Down Outfitters.

Bruce J. Johannsen, age 65, of Bayard, Nebraska, passed away in Scottsbluff on Friday, December 16, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Bayard Church of Christ in Bayard, with Pastor Bill Ferrero officiating. The family requests casual/ sports attire to be worn. Inurnment will be at the Angora Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Angora Community Hall.

Frances S. Chacon, 88, of Bayard, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, in Lincoln. Her Rosary will be held 9:15 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bayard, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., with Father Timothy Stoner officiating.
