John H. Bentley passed away peacefully at the Morrill County Hospital at the age of 97 years young. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church on November 15 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ray Cook officiating. Burial will be at the Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery following the service. Friends and family are invited to join the family at the First Baptist church for lunch following the services. Casual attire is requested.

His funeral service was held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Faith Lutheran Church in Gering with Pastor Richard Neugebauer officiating.
