A graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, at Rose Hill Cemetery at Broadwater with Pastor Bud Gillespie officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Please bring a lawn chair and umbrella for shade if you wish. If you are able, please join the family for a Celebration of His Life at the Bayard Fire Hall following the graveside service. Harlan Sage, 59, of Gurley, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at his home on July 15, 2020, with his wife Tiffany by his side. A celebration of Harlan’s life will be on Friday, July 24, at 4:00 p.m. at the Camp Clark Raiders Shooting Range in Bridgeport below Courthouse and Jail Rock.

Donald (Don) Joe Haden, age 98, of Newman Lake, Washington died Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was born November 6, 1921 on the family farm near Oberlin, Kansas to Floyd and Gladys (Cathcart) Haden. The family moved to Wheatland, WY, for a short time before Floyd went to work for the CB&Q Railroad in 1924, taking the family to Guernsey, WY, and eventually Bridgeport, NE.

Lydia Emma (Reichert) Schildt, 93

Lydia Emma Schildt (Reichert), 93, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Morrill County Hospital. Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bridgeport with the Reverend Allen Strawn officiating. Interment will be in Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery at Bridgeport. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for the Altar Guild or the repair of the belltower.
