The Bridgeport Bulldogs travelled to Mullen for the Bronco Invite on Saturday, December 5, and ended up third place in points out of twentyone teams. Mullen took first with 127 points, Gordon-Rushville second with 124 points and Bridgeport scored 111 points to take third.
The sweet aroma of baked sugar filled the halls at Bridgeport High school last week as the cooking class kicked into high gear last week with their holiday cookie baking. Kids broke up into groups and chose a recipe to bake, gathered the ingredients and headed to the mixers. The ovens were filled with M&M, Red Velvet, Gooey Butter, Caramel Chocolate Chip, and Salted Pretzel Chocolate Chip cookies on Wednesday and everyone got to taste the yummy goodness of each others’ creations.
One Team, One Family was the season long motto of the Bridgeport Bulldog boys when they hit the gridiron each Friday. Their attitude, hard work and determination paid off in their 7-2 standings at the end of fall. For Nebraska Class C2 High School Football, Bridgeport ranked fourteenth out of 32 teams, and second overall in District Six.
This is to let you know of the protocol the school must follow until November 30th when we are hosting sporting events. The governor’s Directed Health Measure (DHM) says that the only spectators allowed at Youth/JH/HS sports are people who live in the same household as of the participants. Each participant will list who they live with and only those individuals are allowed to attend home activities at Bridgeport.
