Bridgeport and Leyton tracksters do well at Bayard Invite

Eighteen schools brought a combined thirty varsity track and field teams to compete at the Bayard Invite on Saturday. The Lady Tigers of Bayard grabbed first place with 79 points, while the Leyton’s Lady Warriors placed eighth with 41 points and the Lady Bulldogs from Bridgeport took ninth with 38.5 points. In the men’s division, Pine Bluffs took the top spot with 86 points, while the Leyton Warriors ended fourth with 65 points, and the Bridgeport Bulldogs took sixth overall with 49 points. With so many competitors, the top eight finaled, with the top six receiving medals.
