Bridgeport Cross Country faced the heat last Friday when nearly a dozen teams competed at the Five Rocks Amphitheater for the Gering Invite. The Bridgeport High School football team broke into the win column in dominating fashion last Friday night. A run of 58 unanswered points powered the Bulldogs to a 64-6 victory over visiting Maxwell.
