Carol Sue Golden, 77

Carol Sue Golden, 77, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2021, in San Antonio Hospital in Upland, CA. It is respectfully requested that no cards or flowers be sent.

Carol was born on October 24, 1943, in Bridgeport, NE, to parents Martha M. and Lee Golden. She graduated from Bridgeport High School and Wesleyan University. She then moved to Pomona, CA.

Carol taught both kindergarten and second-grade children in the Pomona and Upland areas. She retired after 42 years of teaching and loving those young children, her schools, and her co-workers and friends.

She was very involved in the activities of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Pomona. Her strong faith sustained her through both the trials and triumphs of her life.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and other dear family members and friends.

She is survived by her sister Dixie Sanders of Jackson, WY; cousin Jo Ann Cole, and family member-in-law Anita Janay.

Very deep gratitude to Father Mark Hallahan of St. Paul’s Episcopal; forever friends Vickie and Tony Ellis, Debbie and Fredd Grunwald and Matt and Judith Thompson, as well as those many others who know who they are. For those who need comfort, remember Psalm 27:14: “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.”
