The Morrill County Homemakers Club will be awarding a $500 scholarship to a Morrill County resident high school senior to be used at an accredited 2- or 4-year college. Any high school senior or equivalent is eligible to apply. First consideration may be given to a student whose mother or grandmother is a member of the Morrill County Homemakers Club. Applications are available from the high school guidance counselors.
ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, is distributing $7,583 to the City of Bridgeport as its share of$400,000 being distributed through ACE’s revenue return program to the 75 Nebraska member communities of the not-for-profit, communityowned natural gas supplier.
