Cherrie Lee Sanders, 71

Cherrie Lee Sanders, 71, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, entered the courts of heaven on February 12, 2024, with her husband Linden Sanders of Scottsbluff and her daughter Tammy Reichenberg, also of Scottsbluff, by her side.

Cherrie was born in Lewellen, NE, on June 27, 1952, to Davie Lee Parker and Jeane (Fairchild) Parker.

Cherrie became a mother to her daughter Tammy Reichenberg in 1968. After 7 years of being a single parent, Cherrie married the love of her life, Linden Sanders, in 1975.

Cherrie was known for her

love of the Lord! Her life was a living example of God’s love.

She was always there to listen, give advice, and pray for anyone who needed it. She would attribute her ability to fight the chronic illness that she had since childhood to the strength given by Jesus.

In addition to being a wife and mother, Cherrie was blessed with a grandson, Quinten Mozaffarian, who was the light of her life. She was also the best big sister to Tina Thames.

Cherrie was met at the gates of heaven by her grandson, Quinten Mozaffarian; brother Oa (Frog) Parker; her father, Davie Lee Parker, and many other extended family and friends.

She will be dearly missed by her surviving family: her husband Linden Sanders; her daughter Tammy Reichenberg; mother Jeane Parker Clapp; and her siblings Tina Thames, Tony Parker, Edward Parker, and Jack Parker. She is also survived by her nephews, Colten Dietz, Zeek Clemons, Cody Parker and Zack Parker; her nieces, Tanya Farrenkopf, Kimberly Sides, Nicole Sutton, Amber Hunt, Kasie Parker, Abilgail Parker, Hayden Steciow and Abrielle Gardner; as well as several cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Cherrie’s celebration of life was at Gloryland Church in Bridgeport, NE, on February 19, 2024. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www. dugankramer.com.
