Jack D. Celesky, 80

Jack D. Celesky, 80, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Monument Rehab and Care.

Jack was born on January 29, 1943, in Crawford, Nebraska, to John J. and Mildred I. (Piel) Celesky. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School. On

August 19, 1974, Jack was united in marriage to Elaine Mueller in Cheyenne,Wyoming.The couple made their home in the Scottsbluff area all their married lives.

Jack was a roofer for over 34 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Alliance. He enjoyed racing and wrestling.

He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jack is survived by his brother John E. Celesky of Gering; children Danny Grubbs of South Dakota, Corinna (Ricky) Gutierrez of Scottsbluff, Mary (Russ) Hutchinson of Bridgeport and Dale A. Grubbs of Mitchell; son-in-law James “Butch” Frakes of Gering; 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter, two brothers, three grandsons and his parents.
