Kathleen Agnes (Yeager) Rice, 80

Kathleen Agnes (Yeager) Rice, 80, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. at All Souls Catholic Church in Bridgeport, with Father Tim Stoner officiating.

A rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at OregonTrail Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, April 19, from 4-6 p.m. at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be given to the church.

Kathleen was born January 8, 1944, to Anthony and Margaret (Neff)Yeager in Alliance, Nebraska. She grew up in Alliance and attended St. Agnes Academy.

She married Robert Rice in July 1965 and to this union a son was born,Tim. Kathleen worked in dietary at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Alliance and as a CNA at the nursing home in Bridgeport.

She was a dedicated member of All Souls Catholic Church.

Kathleen loved her family and enjoyed sending letters and cards to everyone. She enjoyed listening and singing to her record collection.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Virginia.

Kathleen is survived by her son,Tim (Sue) Rice, granddaughters Tiana and Tegan, siblings Phyllis Coleman of Idaho, Kenneth (Mary Lou)Yeager of Washington, Glenn (Sharon) Yeager of Michigan, Dorothy Yeager of Washington and Ralph (Karla)Yeager of Alliance, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
